Hey guys, here's a few plot type ideas.

Settler Plot - Like an embassy, but able to be settled by people who aren't a
member of a town. Optionally, after being owner of a Settler Plot for x days
the person could be automatically inducted in to the town.

Barracks Plot - Where people would respawn during a time of war. Defenders
respawn at their barracks, attackers respawn at the attack flag. If the
barracks is occupied by the enemy and this goes unchecked, the barracks will be
destroyed. These would be considered buffers between attackers and the home
plot. The home plot could not be taken if a barracks was left standing nearby
the homeplot.

Contested Town Plot - A king of the hill game, for towny. An admin would be the
one to make this plot. It would be a normal town, owned by an NPC. The nation
that had forces on the contested plot, for long enough, would gain that NPC
mayor as a member of their nation. This town would pay a fair sum in taxes to
their wonderful King.

This simple contested plot minigame would give people an assload to fight over,
without actually losing anything that is near and dear.

Tournament Plot - Exactly like arena, except only two people are allowed to
enter at once. If one leaves/dies and is removed from the plot, another person
is allowed to step in.

Dungeon Plot - When a member of another town is murdered on your land they
become stuck in the closest dungeon plot. They become invincible and unable to
move, so they cannot be griefed, but they are exempt from combat for an admin
configurable amount of time.

Dock Plot - Would allow other towns with a water-connected dock plot to fast
travel between eachother at certain intervals during the day, much like a
normal ferry. The transportation would be instant, the money gained from this
venture would go to the town bank.
