I tried to light the blaze with biofuel and straw, but no fuel was wasted. How to properly hold biofuel and straw so that it ignites

Does the Blaze Burner get super heated? Did you give the Blaze Burner the Straw (from Create Crafts Additions) before heating it with Biofuel?
