odd cursor behavior #133

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I am not sure how I got to this point. I have a toddler variable in the mix
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output is typed letters without yellow box cursors over every
other one. Instead I see yellow box cursors over every other letter typed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
316s-7

Please provide any additional information below.
I didnt see where I could log a potential bug, but even if I did, I am not
sure it is a bug. My 2 year old likes clicking on the mobile terminal and
typing. So I have the toddler variable to incorporate into this mystery.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled mobile terminal and I still get the same
unwanted behavior.

I get the shell prompt in mobile terminal when I launch it, with a yellow
solid (non blinking) cursor.

If I type "ls" into the prompt, when I pres the "s" in "ls" it puts a
yellow solid cursor over the "l". If i hit return, it does the list command.

Then, if I type "mv testfile testfile2", every second keystroke puts
another yellow cursor box over the first and then every other text in the
command. When i hit the end of the typing space on the line, it goes to
next line to let me continue typing the command, but at that point all the
yellow cursor squares, which were every other character, go away after the
line wrap.

so as an example, if i type "test" into the terminal, "t" types fine, then
when "e" is pressed I get a yellow square over the "t". Then I press "s"
and end up with a yellow box over the "e" and the yellow cursor box on the
end. pressing "s" next, I get a yellow box in the beginning of the shell
prompt line, one over "e" and cursor at the end. Then by pressing "t" for
the final letter in "test" I end up with yellow boxes over first "t" and "s".

Sometimes when I press the first character on the terminal, a yellow square
goes to the beginnig of the line. upon pressing the second character in
the terminal line, the font of the shell prompt also seems to get bold?

The commands seem to still work, but it is a severe distraction from seeing
what is actually typed.

I have a problem almost exactly like this excet I see just a yellow cursor and
when I type in commands it
simply stays in one spot and blinks and doesn't acknowledge I typed anything
in. I'm on os 3.0 ad this
just started happening like 2 daus ago.

Try with v426 and re-open if you still see the problem.
