• [ ] How many exist in Mauritius?
• [ ] What are their names?
• [ ] Where are they located?
• [ ] Find digital maps of the reservoirs
• [ ] Are there information publicly available about the current water level ?
• [ ] How often are these info update and where is it published?
• [ ] Is there historic data of these reservoirs?

The open data portal appear to be as useless as ever. The water section has no info on water.

Contact newspapers to see where they got their data. I constantly see 50% of x reservoir filled up etc.

great idea @Abdur-rahmaanJ, I work at a newspaper company currently, I'll contact them and see what's the process

A problem with MBC news archive is that there are some videos without reservoir info. Maybe this can be solved by collecting cyclone and heavy rainfall dates

I was able to find out that they used to publish this data, but stopped a few years ago. The reason is not known.

A wild guess is that the sensors stopped working and manual data entry is hard to keep up!
