Supercell Structure And Formation #195

I have an idea for the mod: supercell structure, formation and life cycle. Supercell Variants

There should be 3 types of supercells: Classic (Normal Rainfall), Low Precipitation (Light Rain) and High Precipitation (Heavy Rain). Each variant depends on the environment, classic supercells should occur over plains biomes, low precipitation supercells over desert and savanna, and high precipitation supercells over jungles. Supercell Structure

Each supercell variant will have their own structure.

  1. Classic Supercells should have an area of heavy rain (possible hail) and strong outflow winds to the north of the rotation. Another area of strong outflow winds and perhaps light rain should occur on the backside of the storm. The rain-free base is within the rotating wall cloud's vicinity.
  2. Low Precipitation Supercells should have an area of light rain (possible hail) and weak outflow winds to the north of the rotation.
  3. High Precipitation Supercells should have an area of very heavy rain (possible hail) that can potentially even wrap around the rotation along with strong outflow winds occurring to the north and backside of the storm. Supercell Life Cycle

The start of a supercell's life cycle is formation as a rainstorm or a snowstorm that matures into a thunderstorm. The thunderstorm's cloud base begins to expand outwards as inflow winds begin to move into the southern side of the storm. Eventually, when the cloud base is fully mature, the storm starts to rotate. At first, the rotation is high up in the storm, and as it grows, the rotating clouds get lower to the ground until it has fully matured into a rotating wall cloud, which can drop a tornado.

This actually simplifies how I would want to do something like this. Thank you for this suggestion. Once I figure out how to do it, this is highly likely to be in for 2.9.

Ok.
