If it is possible, I would really like to suggest the ability to change the tool tip for "Fresh/Stale" and their corrresponding color, it makes more variety and allows modpack developers to add more different types of spoil type.
(E.g "Fresh,0.1,0.3,orange" means Fresh shows up when the spoil percent is only 10~30, and orange color for the text)
Aside from that, the default expiry date for the food can be shown too on the tooltips, letting player know this food estimate last for how long once created/made.
