I like a lot this mod and I want to suggest some features:
1) Making drinks spoilable. Making this mod effective on thirst mod like Tough As Nails.
2) Food have specialized rotten variants.
Example:
Any type of flesh will became rotten flesh.
Potatoes will became a poisonous potatoes.
Potions or drinks will became normal water (or if it is possible, making it became dirty water if using this mod with the mod Tough As Nails).
If a food is from a mod it will spoil in rotten flesh (configurable in config saying X item will became Y)
3) Add some some more rotten variants to improve the suggestion number 2.
Example:
Rotten bread (take longer to be eat + give hunger effect)
Rotten soup/stew (give hunger effect)
Rotten fruit (give hunger effect)
Rotten cake (give hunger effect)
Rotten fish (give poison effect)
2) Adding a item called Can to make canned food by simply putting the can with the item (food or drink) you want to can in a crafting table, after, when the item is canned it won't spoil. The canned mark can be like this:
Canned mark in the picture is a gray colored lore made with cheats (It's not a mod) and the "light meal" with the hunger symbol is by quark mod
