[Suggestion]: A setting to apply status effect on respawn #18

General Info

Suggestion Description

The main reason why I want this kind of mod is to disable players ability to spam death a mob or dungen. So now it's not really working: I still can spam death: i just run and one hit a skeletone 10-20 times and he is dead.

To stop me from doing so the has to be a status effect. Best if it would be progressive.

Say if you die and ... have no "MementoMori" - MementoMori I is applied: - 10% walk speed, - 10% damage, 10 minutes duration ... have no "MementoMori I" - MementoMori II is applied: - 20% walk speed, - 20% damage, 20 minutes duration ... have no "MementoMori II" - MementoMori III is applied: - 30% walk speed, - 30% damage, 30 minutes duration

all effects are removed once you restore one heart.

I play heavy modded with son and we have quite hard settings: we loose all health when die and need to kill 30 pigs to restore it. So he died early game when we don't have farm yet.

So we play for 12-16 hours with 1 hp. And so we had to spam death zombies and skeletons

So that's why I suggest above.
