What steps will reproduce the problem?

The installation process starts but in a while I am getting undescriptive

>> I am getting a message box: The installer encountered error 1603: Fatal
error during installation.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP SP2 Internet Explorer 8
What hardware are you using: graphics card type? motherboard type?
Videocard: Nvidia Quadro FX 3450/4000 SDI
Please provide any additional information below.
I tried everything I could. I even managed to quite the last instance of
IE before the installation process starts. I also ensured that there is
not any O3D application already installed.
