Intel GMA 950 #126

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install 03d in a machine with Intel GMA 950 card
2.Run Beach demo
3.A black screen is displayed

Are there plans to make 03d work with this graphics card? We are looking at
03d for our enterprise wide virtual world deployment but due to this
limitation of 03d we are looking at alternatives like 3di browser. Most of
the clients (90%) have this chipset for business use and it will difficult to
get them to upgrade.

Thanks for the report. Do any of the other O3D samples work for you?

If you look at issue 137 you will see that no samples worked for us.

any update on this issue (when can we expect this functionality)? most of the
enterprise usage is on intel integrated chipsets and its difficult to see O3D's
adoption without its universal appeal.

Sorry you're running into problems.
I run O3D on an Intel 950 every day and have since June.

What machine? What OS version? What Drivers?

i just tried the beach demo and am thrilled to finally see it. i had tried this
on Sept
17 last when it didn't work. don't know exactly when the problem was resolved
but it
works perfectly in Chrome, IE & Firefox now.

I'm on Windows XP Media center edition 2002 with Intel 945GM Express chipset.
