Home Configurator demo doesn't work on FF3 with XP #172

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In FF3 on XP, visit
http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/home-configurators/homedesigner.html
2. The view of the home will load, but none of the tools or dragging of
items seems to do anything.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Before if you clicked and dragged with the orbit tool selected, the
building would spin. If you clicked and dragged a piece of furniture into
the room it would appear. Neither of these happen now.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest version of o3d as of 10-7-09, XP, FF3.5.3

What hardware are you using:  graphics card type?  motherboard type?
I'm using a lenovo T60p (standard Google issue)
