Make GUI elements with feedback #132

This is a long term task but the first part:

[x] a check box with input to c++
[x] a slider with feedback to c++
[x] text box input to c++

Once these are prototyped we need to find use cases

closing this because its an addon of the issue mentioned above, no need to track it twice. The work for this one is done i.e. the buttons feed in information. We just need to learn how to pass that to the module.
