That is somewhat intentional, for, as far as I remember, derived fonts are supposed to reset the version number (and only refer to the original version numbers in their descriptions if necessary). In all cases, it shouldn't cause any problem in using the generated font.

I've also noticed that you didn't add any suffix in your generated font. You should. The goal of this tool is never for creating a font that sounds like the original but in fact different (in any way). That will be a violation to the copyright and stuff.
