MudSelect Does not work properly when placed in a MudAppBar #9254

What happened?

I need to have a MudSelect right aligned in my AddBar so a user can select an item while on any page. As I add the following code to my MudLayout:

     </MudSelect>
 </div>

This works fine while on the home page, but if I navigate to another page and click the Select RFP, the list stays extended and I cannot select an item and click anywhere else in the UI, it basically freezes up.

Expected behavior

I expect the ability to interact with the MudSelect in the AppBar from any page. This cannot be reproduced using the try.mudblazor.com, you must build an app to reproduce this.

Reproduction steps

  1. Create a MudBlazor Service App
  2. Create a new page and simply call it testpage.razor
  3. Modify the NavMenu.razor page with the following to add your testpage.razor

  4. Now modify your MainLayout.razor page with the following:

5. Run the App and do not select a page yet, select any Coffee from the MudSelect Component, no problem that works.
6. Now click on the Test page in the left navigation and not try to select a Coffee from the list. At this point you cannot do anything with the app, you must restart the app.
