What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Change port number to something other than 22
2. Connect to ssh server

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

First line message says port 22 even though a different port number is used,

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?

I could not find about but I am using a recent download,

What type of system are you trying to connect to?

Bsd
If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?

Please provide any additional information below.

I could not reproduce this. Here are the steps I took:

1. Create a new host using user@example.com
2. Long press on host and change port to something else (e.g., 2222)
3. Try to connect to host

It displays the correct port for me.

Thanks for checking on this. I have upgraded to r404 since my last report (was
r377?), but still see the error.

The problem is that when you create a desktop shortcut for a host, and then
edit the
port number for the host from the host menu, it still uses the old port, or at
least
still displays the old port number. I have not been able to determine the
actual
port number used for the connection.

Oh, the desktop shortcuts aren't tied to the host list. You could completely
remove
the host from your list and it would still connect.
