A significant problem during field testing at the Outback has been that the LT will often lock onto a nearby reflector if the target reflector is either hidden or not the most prominent reflector it sees. Most of these errors can be handled by setting reasonable uncertainty boundaries for the predicted reflector positions outside of which the measurement will not be counted as a success.
