Transcription field #13

The "transcription" field of a DH item should allow rich text or HTML formatting to allow tables, etc.

I'll bring this up. We had opinions on both sides when this decision was first made, but I don't remember the arguments against. Thanks.

Perhaps it would complicate things (exporting, etc.) for some users? But it would be good to give admins the option of enabling rich text or HTML for users who need to display strike-through text, italics, indents and line breaks, tables, special characters such as diacritics (the latter might even need the text box to use a specialised font).

The ideal of course would be to integrate something like one of these tools for transcriptions of handwritten manuscripts or audio recordings!
