Visual issues - font and logo #106

Also - one additional question. I believe this decision was made before my time, but can you remember why we decided to go monochromatic on the logos? My comms person just asked: "While it looks like intent is keep presentation simple and straightforward, any reason not use full-color logos and color?"

Can we switch the font on the site to Ariel?

And, are we married to the logo? I can't remember where it came from!

We're updating the logo (and will use a transparent background so that the white doesn't jump out against the background color of the site). We strongly suggest using the fonts currently in use on the site (Circular, and Open Sans). They were selected for readability and accessibility, following guidelines - including those used by the US govt - for accessibility in particular. Switching to Arial would be a step backwards in terms of accessibility and readability.

We've updated the net grant calc logo and equation.

We think the full color logos would be visually jarring and would draw attention to the logos rather than to the content of the site. Closing this issue, but can revisit if PEAK disagrees.
