That sounds like a network problem, not a software problem. Make sure the network you are using isn't blocking minecraft-related servers and services.
Having the same issue. home network, able to access download other websites. Using the latest multi-mc, trying to run with RLcraft and Vivecraft

See this reply from peterix, this is probably a network problem.
Nevermind, it's only blocking "https://libraries.minecraft.net/com/mojang/minecraft/1.15.2-Impact_4.9.1/minecraft-1.15.2-Impact_4.9.1-client.jar" I don't know how to fix that though
That's a broken JSON. Why would mojang be hosting files for impact, which is a hacked client (and in all honesty a very good one for anarchy servers). Try creating a new instance using the impact launcher.
This is not the support for Impact. This issue is closed. And @seanawesome you're necromancing old threads.
im having the same issue how do i fix it i really wanna play alpha 1.1.0

This is not a network issue as I was able to manually download the files from the listed links.
Don't think that's a MultiMc issue... also you're necroing this thread again. Either open a new issue on the correct bug tracker or open a new issue on this tracker with more info.
that was so useless... its a software problem I've disabled firewall I give the software all the necessary permission and still nothing.. I can manually download libraries but the software can't I tried all the workarounds that I can found and nothing works..
post your multimc-0.log from the launcher folder, that should give you the reason

Create instance, install forge, click launch, start minecraft
Steps to reproduce the issue (Add more if needed):
Create a new instance (1.12.2)
Install the latest version of Forge
Click Launch
Console gives error
Suspected cause:
It may have been the regular launcher cause when I tried to launch it over there it was stuck on "Preparing", I had no idea how to fix that
