Mutimc freeze when trying to open mods window

Description of bug

When attempting to open the mods window by clicking the "View mods" button on minecraft instance version 1.20.4 with mods, the multimc freezes for approximately 15 seconds to 1 minute and fully utilises 1 core of CPU before the mods window appears. Steps to reproduce

• open multimc
• select minecraft version(1.20.4)
• start minecraft
• load world
• exit world
• exit minecraft
• press "view mods" button

Suspected cause

Instance folder around 9gb mb cause this? world folder 2 gb size
