We need to handle non-premium accounts.
Or... not.
This is too much of a grey area and we went the complete opposite direction, for stricter checking.
The only exception could be implementing the demo mode (but really, who would want to use mmc5 for minecraft demo?).
Apologies for the necrothread.
I'd really like to see this come back in the light of Mojang support being so unhelpful. Let me explain:
I bought two licenses so that myself and my son could play together. Something at Mojang's side automatically locked his account for "suspicious behavior", and attempts to reset his password fail because their system doesn't email the reset link when we try. I've spent about 2 months trying to get help from their support, but always I get either "please provide transaction id" (which I do) or "sorry we haven't gotten to this because we're really busy".
My son is now playing with my account (he plays a lot more than I do, so I wanted him to be able to play). I'd like to join him sometimes, like we used to, but... can't.
Just launch the game in online mode once and then you'll be able to use it in offline mode. Also yes, necroposting 6 year old issues is bad. Please create a new issue next time.
Hello,
I have been using MultiMC for a while, including the multiMC5 beta release. Had to remove it to clean my laptop for a few days, thinking it would be the same when I redownload it.
Seems that I cannot login. I am not a premium member, but I managed to log in in the past so..
Each time I try adding an account I get an login error saying "An unknown error occurred when processing the response from the authentication server."
Tried making a new mojang account, but this has not made any result as for now. Anyone known with this problem, or got ideas on how to fix it?
