How prevent Multibit HD from resending stucked transactions? #1005

I sent transaction with low fee. It had with some reason only 25 sat/B (but this this was default since installing software!) It took about 7 days when finally transaction was delete from transaction pool. But when I opened multibit HD again, transaction was resent again. But I wanted cancel it and send to another address, not resend it after week to same address again automatically! Because I lost money, I had only 7 days to send money to deposit address and all deposits after week are lost. I am very angry from this situation and I'd like to prevent it in the future. (of course I tryed Repair wallet feature twice)

I feel your pain.. I sent my btc back on the 21st May and I had the same thing happen to me. I am so Pxxxxx as well. I tried the breadwallet, which worked for my first wallet, but my second one never synced. I'm still waiting on a response or resolution

KeepKey support is currently recommending the following if you want to recover on a different wallet:

Please recover your wallet with using Breadwallet or Simple Bitcoin wallet. They are both mobile wallets that work great with Multibit wallet word recovery. Breadwallet (https://breadwallet.com/) is available on App store and simple bitcoin wallet (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btcontract.wallet&hl=en) is for Android.

We are working on other solutions for this issue and will advise when they are available.
