Transactions showing up as unconfirmed, years after the fact #964

So I have a wallet that was upgraded from Multibit to Multibit-HD.

I have not been a frequent bitcoin user, but I decided to have a look at my funds. And found that all my funds are in transactions are listed as in an unknown state, showing my funds as 'unconfirmed'.

This is with Multibit HD - version 0.4.1:

What I've tried:

No change - all transactions are still in an unknown state.

This is one of the transactions that are in the unknown state: https://blockchain.info/tx-index/4933c99b2f5cd980439e619c740ac3a75559a1931f7bec72714a554a04f374b3

MBHD lists this transaction as having an "Unknown transaction status".

Any workarounds I've not tried? Are the funds in an unknown state? I'm not fluent in bitcoin transactions.

Cheers, Jørn

Came here for the same reason. Tried the same steps. Restoring the wallet from scratch in the 0.1.1 was the only thing that worked for me and others.

Hugely annoying, especially since this seems to be a known issue since over a year and right now there seems to be a new wave of victims, us included.

I made it that way: Before begining be sure that your wallet words and password are written down correctly!!! Locate your mbdh.wallet.aes file and copy it somewhere safe like usb stick.(safety measure if something go wrong along the way) Uinstal Mulitbit hd and delete all files connectec to it. I mean totally wipe out all backups and shit Install the newest multibit hd and restore from words only.

Restoring the wallet from scratch in version 0.1.1 worked for me as well.

Same problem, all transactions unconfirmed. Repairing wallet multiple times did not fix.
