Rebroadcasting #996

Hello, I've messed up and sent a transaction with a very low fee. Transaction was rejected after 4 or 5 days, then I opened my Multibit HD and selected "Repair wallet", transaction got rebroadcasted. Sometimes after restoring wallet I see "unknown transaction status" for it but then if I restart the client transaction gets rebroadcasted again. and again. Also, all my balance is gone after restoring or repairing.

Tell me please how to stop your client from rebroadcasting? What to do when it gets rejected next time?

I don't have any specific experience with your problem but I do recommend retrieving your private keys and changing to a different wallet program. Multibit HD seems to have quite a lot of problems a this time (take a look at this thread for example https://github.com/keepkey/multibit-hd/issues/753#issuecomment-304449559.
