blockchain replay date #652

I'm importing some bitcoins from a private key and it says the replay date should be December 1 2013. However, when I resync my blockchain, it replays from December 9 2014, one year ago.

Is there any way to sync with the block chain starting from a later replay date, or from the very beginning?

Apologies for the slow response. MultiBit Classic will resync based on the oldest key date in your wallet, or from genesis if no date could be determined. Given that you imported the private key you need to examine the format of the import file which should contain a date filed.
