Hi,

I'm running multi bit classic (i know i shouldn't be, this will be the last time), and i sent some coins to my wallet yesterday. They landed, i sent some to another wallet which never arrived. Now, the amount in my multi bit wallet is $0 when there should be a residual…what can i do? In the transactions section you can see a history of the coins going in, but nothing after that. Have i lost my coins because i'm using the classic version?

Please help!!!!!

You can move your wallet to blockchain.info if you want to. There is a guide here: https://multibit.org/en/help/v0.5/help_movingAWallet.html

How will this recover my missing coins?

Thanks

You need to read the help.

To explain further, if you move your wallet to blockchain.info then any bitcoin in your MultiBit Classic wallet will also be in your blockchain.info wallet. You can then do with them whatever you want. Keep them, spend them, etc.

Hello Jim, I have Multibit Classic 0.5.15 running on Mac OSX 10.6.8. I cannot send any of the bitcoin held in the wallet. I have done as requested and attempted to move the wallet to blockchain.info.

Blockchain.info say this can no longer be done, is there any other way I can recover my bitcoins?

Finally transferred my bitcoins from Multibit Classic to blockchain.info wallet!
..So for anyone who is hitting a similar obstacle. ..After further scrutiny of the Multibit.org support pages, I figured that the final release of Multibit Classic, version 0.5.19 (which allows for increased transaction fees) looked promising. However when I tried to install it on my Mac I found it wasn't compatible with OSX 10.6.8!
If it hadn't been for the fact that I had near £2000 locked inside, think I'd have just called it quits and left Bitcoin to the geeks at the point. But luckily I had once used Bootcamp to set up a rarely visited Windows 7 partition on the Mac, so I booted into that, and found that the Windows version of Multibit Classic 0.5.19 was quite happy to install itself there. There after, it proved almost deliriously straight forward to send the bitcoins to the blockchain.info wallet.

So problem finally solved, though seriously thinking of cashing in for some nice friendly hassle free £5 notes.

Hi all

The same problem happened with my Multibit wallet - I attempted to send 1 BTC, the wallet deducted the amount from the balance & then lost the transaction!

To fix, export available transactions, created a wallet at blockchain.info & then import the private keys.

Multibit, what a stress - DON'T USE IT!

Hope this helps G

I just reset blockchain and transactions and it wiped my balance to 0 bitcoins.

I've got a backed up key, but can't find a way to import it into blockchain.info - have they changed the website? I was trying to send my bitcoin from multibit classic to multibit HD, wish I hadn't bothered now. Any ideas anyone??? Help!
