Multiple instances of one map? #15

Any way that we could have the ability to load multiple instances of one map? An example of this would be something like having a 1-person map that you can complete alone while someone else is working on the same map, then when either player leaves the map their instance is dumped.

Something like this: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/fun-challengemaps-v0-2-smp-framework-for-instanced-challenge-maps-1240-1337.41009/

I also would like to have this feature

Kurusca commented 12 years ago

same here. With maybe a wool block that changes color when there are no more instances available. So players know if there is room to create another instance.

Multiverse is already the premier multi-world management suite imo, but a crucial feature missing form MVA imho is the ability to create a unique instance of an adventure map for a player (or group) that enters it, and for that instance to persist for them through log-outs until an end is triggered by the player, admin, timer (toggleable and configurable), or scripted event (likely interacted with by the player).

My users love creating and sharing adventure maps with others, and I feel this would be a great feature for adv map lovers, RPG servers, and more. Ty for your time.

Any word on the possibility of having this as a feature?

I know the devs are super busy and this is an amazing plugin as always from multiverse team. But, can we PLEASE get an update on if this is possible to add? Plugin named Adventour does this and I think that mva would benefit greatly from adding it.

Yes, it is possible to add. (And we will when we can get to it.)
