Permission Nodes #603

The permission Nodes that would Allow someone through to going to another world only works on my previous worlds but has not been working on the new worlds I currently made. No one can travel there unless they are Oped.

I use PermissionsEx for my permissions system.

I noticed some having issues with permissions EX in general mine seem to be related to the permission nodes.

What permissions do your players have in regards to the permission node multiverse.access.X where X is either * or a world name. If none of your players have anything in regards to that permission node then in reality none of your players are allowed to even be in any world on your server and multiverse is just being nice about not kicking them because of it. :)

Ive given out all the permission nodes in certain groups and or per player and the ones i have give out to different members work except the new worlds i made. When i added permission nodes for those it still denied anyone access even when they had the appropriate permission node

Well there is nothing wrong with MV. Mind posting your worlds.yml for multiverse and the permissions file for PermissionsEX?

Can you repaste your world file to be in the same tags as your permissions file? it is impossible to read accurately.

Players: saldog can access all worlds

Groups: Guest isn't allowed to visit /any/ worlds. Explorer can goto world world_nether world_the_end oldmap. Settler inherits the access to the same worlds as Explorer. Princess inherits the same worlds as Settler. Elite inherits the same worlds as Settler. Supporter inherits the same worlds as Elite. Investor inherits the same worlds as Supporter plus can goto creative and are explicitely given access to world instead of just inheriting it. SupporterT1 inherites the same worlds as Elite. SupporterT2 inherites the same worlds as SupporterT1. SupporterT3 inherites the same worlds as SupporterT2. InvestorT1 inherites the same worlds as SupporterT3 plus can goto creative and are explicitely given access to world instead of just inheriting it. InvestorT2 inherites the same worlds as InvestorT1. InvestorT3 inherites the same worlds as InvestorT2. Watcher inherites the same worlds as Investor.

Worlds: world looks good. world_nether looks good. world_the_end looks good. creative looks good. RPG Only saldog and ops can get here. EventW Only saldog and ops can get here. Oldmap Only saldog and ops can get here. Everyone else can goto the non existent oldmap Need to capitalize the "o" BennieDean Only saldog and ops can get here. DND Only saldog and ops can get here.
