Steps to reproduce:

The Unstaged Files list should now be clear, but it has stale data from the last commit that was selected. See attached video.

Pressing Refresh doesn't seem to help.

This is a duplicate of #567, but I would like to keep it open because it provides more information and a demonstration of the bug.
