Started thinking about visualisations:

• Watched the video on viridis colourmap and wrote notes (will most likely use viridis as map, and discuss why maps such as jet aren't good, and discuss how the eyes process images etc)
• Started researching datasets to use (searching for data in various R packages as well as UCI machine learning repository
• May be interesting to talk about how I'm selecting data based on the visualisations I want to create, rather than the other way round?

• Trying to find a good case study of when a company has successfully used survey research (any suggestions?)
• How to do citations/bibliography in VS code?
• As of when I'm writing this, I'm looking into phrasing of the first questions (ie about visual processing/dyslexia)

• How to do citations/bibliography in VS code?

We'll discuss but the short version:

• Follow the steps at https://vknight.org/tex/#11-bibliographies to create the necessary files and point at them appropriately etc...
• Run pdflatex main.tex twice (this creates all the pointers at the bibliography and citations)
• Run bibtex main.aux (a file that would have been created by the previous steps) to create the bibliographic material
• Run pdflatex main.tex again.
