Expected: If user uses this then they should only need to increments bolt by ones since they would use it in class to mark attendance hence no need for a value greater than 1.

Hi thanks for the report,

This is an intended aspect of the bolt command. We believe that it is necessary to give the user leeway to update the bolt at a later date. Suppose that a TA had forgotten to update a student's attendance in a previous week. We would want to cover that case and allow the user to update the attendance more than once.

Reason for disagreement: Ideally the TA should use the app during lessons to mark attendance so I don't believe the bolt commands needs increments greater than 1, the edit command exists to give the user the leeway to add it in a later date or even just use the bolt commands twice or more to circumnavigate any such situations.
