Curator Approved Artworks #22

Hi there, Just want to double check - what is the relevant column for curator approved artworks? Is it the column "Cataloged"? (values Y and N). Could you please publish a clear documentation for this dataset that includes full explanations on each column and an indexed set of values?

You are correct, Cataloged is the column to denote curator approved artworks. The works that are marked Y for this column have their information verified by the curatorial team.

Here's a list - ones that are more self explanatory I didn't detail but can elaborate if there's further detail needed

Artists ConstituentID - unique identifier for the artist DisplayName ArtistBio Nationality Gender BeginDate - birth date EndDate - date of artist's death, 0 if they are still living Wiki QID - unique identifier for the artist on wikidata (see https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Identifiers) ULAN - union list of artist names (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_List_of_Artist_Names)

Artworks Title Artist - Artist name, multiple artists are separated by parentheses ConstituentID - unique Artist ID, order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple ArtistBio - order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple Nationality - order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple BeginDate - artist birth date, order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple EndDate - date of artist's death, 0 if the artist is still living, order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple Gender - order corresponds to the artist name order if multiple Date - date(s) for the artwork, due to undated or ranges this is a string Medium Dimensions CreditLine AccessionNumber Classification Department DateAcquired Cataloged - whether the information has been curator approved and signed off (either Y or N) ObjectID - unique identifier for the artwork URL - link to the artwork on the moma.org website ImageURL - representative image of the artwork OnView - if the artwork is on view at MoMA, the value is the gallery location of the artwork Circumference (cm) Depth (cm) Diameter (cm) Height (cm) Length (cm) Weight (kg) Width (cm) Seat Height (cm) Duration (sec.)
