Display of "Upload" should be different when not connected

If you click Upload when not connected nothing happens. It would be nice to have some way to let users know that they can't upload at the moment. Some ideas

• Grey out Upload if not connected
• Send user to a window with a message, the substance of which is: You cannot upload now because you aren't connected to the web. Please upload this Observation when you have a connection.

Nathan Wilson nathan@collectivesource.com Sat, Apr 30, 2022 at 5:43 PM Went out with the app, took some pictures, and noticed a couple issues. I was specifically curious about how it would work if I was disconnected or had poor coverage.

It wasn't clear what to do other than "Upload" which immediately tried to use the cell network which is not what I wanted. I realized later that I should have used the "Save" link in the upper right, but it's not clear what to do if you're staring at the green "Upload" button. I would have preferred if there was a "Save as Draft" button there and ideally if I'm disconnected, then "Save as Draft" would be the only option, but I don't know how hard that would be. ... Nathan
