SMB does not work for music_directory on recent Fedora distributed binaries

Describe the bug

server$ grep smb /etc/mpd.conf music_directory "smb://guest:guest@bookcase.house/mp3"

local$ mpc --host=bookcase.house update

Log from sudo -u mpd mpd --no-daemon --stdout --verbose --stderr on server

exception: Unrecognized storage URI: smb://guest:guest@bookcase.house/mp3

Expected Behavior

update should read given files, list them, index them

Actual Behavior

update finishes almost straight away

local$ mpc --host=bookcase.house ls / shows nothing listed

local$ smbclient //bookcase.house/mp3/ -U guest%guest followed by "ls" lists files as expected

You have disabled the smbclient storage plugin at build/compile time. And your MPD version is old and unsupported.

This is Fedora 33. Very much current. So their packaging is wrong and out of date ?

Where can I get a more recent RPM ?

I don't know about Fedora and RPMs. This project distributes only source code.

I'm not going to update f33 mpd for rpmfusion.

P.S f33 is EOL in a month.
