Unable to use hardware mixing with Hifiberry DAC plus #1888

Describe the bug

On rpi4 bookworm, I have a Hifiberry dac plus :

I configured Alsa output in mpd.conf, with hardware mixing :

Expected Behavior

I my mpd client I should be able to control the volume.

I cannot control the volume :

Does alsamixer change hifi berry volume? Try to state mixer_device like

thanks, I had already tried mixer_device but not with the right syntax ("hw:" at the beginning)

I works now :)
