The same problem occurred on my Arm64( Snapdragon 8cx Gen3) tablet, too. It happened when I had just updated my system from Windows 11 Pro 23H2 to 24H2 insider preview(Dev). I tried many of those unofficial WSA builds, and found out only pure WSA(2311.40000.5.0) issued by Microsoft could still work on 24H2.

I cannot help with issues related to Insider Builds of Windows. Mainly, because they are unstable and have many quirks that may break stuff.

I have the exact same problem on my new Surface Pro 11 (ARM) which came running 24H2 out of the box. My downloaded build was WSA_2311.40000.5.0_arm64_Release-Nightly-with-magisk-81658d45.27002.-canary-GApps-13.0-NoAmazon.7z. And it has 32GB RAM so that's definitely not the reason for the issue. Thanks always for your hard work!

I think 24H2 ARM64 might remove some crucial support for WSA. I can't even run the official build.

@TheSheepfolder Check if the official version runs.

@MustardChef I can confirm the official version installs but when opened the app list is blank. Your builds worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 9. So no, WSA does not work on the new Surface Qualcomm devices.

Thank you for the insight. Guess my assumptions were proven correct.
