1 year ago Synthesis, at the end of the day, just generates an esp file, similar to one you could download from the nexus. I think you will need to diagnose it via tools like xEdit just like you would any other mod that might be causing issues.
If you can narrow down a more specific cause that you think is Synthesis' fault, then feel free to reopen the issue
However, there's just too many patchers with code written by 3rd party individuals, on highly custom load orders by the end user, that it's near impossible for me to know the gritty details of what is actually causing the problem for you
I'm surprised I didn't find any info about it online. I'm using Vortex and whenever I enable the plugins generated by Synthesis 10/10 I run into infinite loading screen before getting to the main menu. It does not matter which patch I use, if it's just one or two the problem is that I can't say if it's working ingame just with the esps inside the data folder while they're disabled in my mod manager. I'm also not sure if it's a Vortex thing or not. I tried everything, even nuking my previous save and doing a super clean reinstallation of the game in a new vortex profile. Still get infinite loading screen before main menu.
