Problem
It's hard to see in places obscured by sunlight on vehicles, and since there is no way to disable shadows in the settings it can be pretty annoying to build there.
Suggestion
I suggest either toggleable headlamp which illuminates everything in front of the camera, or illuminating the area around the cursor onto nearby objects (similar to Half Life 1). Settings for illumination strength and width would also be useful, aswell as having a button toggle (like H or L) to turn it on or off.
Alternatively, adding an option to disable shadows in the settings would do the same thing at the cost of having to turn them on again every time you aren't working in the dark, and it would also indirectly help people who have problems running the game due to hardware limits.

I hope you consider adding this, thanks!
