homunculus wont talk anymore #21

sorry to bother again, but am i the only one whose homunculus/pets stopped 
talking when they get hungry and stoped thanking the master when they are fed?

i remember an option being under conf some time ago, but i just looked at them 
and i coudnt find anything related to the issue, maybe i missed it or maybe, 
just maybe theres a problem somewhere.. im @ r600
