Some ZoC functionality was implemented, therefore the AI now covers areas with clever placement of forts to prevent overlapping ZoC.
Still, a frontline needs to take rivals etc. into account.
An idea would be to evaluate worth of provinces around the fort. If it's not worth the upkeep, the fort will be destroyed. (perhaps below 20 dev?)
The AI often does not maintain a proper frontline and overall has plenty of unnecessary forts in sometimes unsuitable terrain (farmlands).
Some kind of logic for the fort placement would be necessary to help the AI fight wars more efficiently.
