It also appears that the configuration does not take effect until I forcefully restart kwin with kstart -- kwin --replace
. It actually does seem to be working before this but it uses the wrong configuration. I have my left-most monitor w/o a virtual desktop and by default when I login in the right-most monitor has no virtual desktop... until I restart kwin
then it has the correct configuration.
Any idea how to figure out which display is for which interface these days? The display configuration no longer shows this, only shows name/model + maybe serial (sometimes not even that) and when clicking "Identify" doesn't show any more details.
I have 3 displays and I find it very hard to know which values to configure.
xrandr
doesn't show this unfortunately, and I can kinda guess from the output and offset which is which.This is a great extension and I use it all the time. I would love to see it have a better way to pick which heads should have a virtual desktop and which should not.
