Every when and then someone asks for a step by step description of the upgrade process because she/he got lost by using the installation script insted the upgrade script or by using an outdated upgrade script, that was never deleted from the forum installation.
See also this project forum thread about a corresponding issue. I gave there a more or less complete set of instructions. I will take it as source to extend the readme file.
