Add ATM Asset #516

Add a new asset to be listed by asset managers. I believe it needs to be added to the airtable DB and then updated on the Front-End.

Asset Info. Name: General Bytes BatmTwo Classic Cost: 4,450 DAI About: Produced by industry leader in Bitcoin ATMs, General Bytes, from Prague Czech Republic. Managed by German ATM manager, CoinFellows. Financials: 10% of gross profit paid monthly. Break-down is as follows. 15% to store owner (location) 50% to manager (person who maintains it, manages customer support, and empty/refills it daily) 25% to liquidity provider (person or group who provides the liquidity in BTC, ETH, and EUR) 10% to investors of the ATM hardware (on MyBit) Based on historic performance an average of 200 Euros per month can be expected to be generated for each ATM in a German location. Providing an annual ROI of about 54%.

Risks:

  1. Interest in crypto. ATMs make money off of consumer interest to buy/sell crypto. This may rise or fall significantly from month to month based on user sentiment.
  2. Legal. This is a very high risk. Germany does not have clear regulation for ATMs and at any time the operator may receive a notice to cease and desist operations. There are back-up plans to fight any legislation and/or move to another European country if this occurs, but there may be a significant delay in operations where the ATM is not operational and generating profits during this period.

Hey @MyBitIO, how can i access Airtable to add the asset? It seems it requires some permissions from the owner

@cryptnotiq, how is the model id for the asset generated?

@mul53 do you mean the hash for the asset ID once it is listed for funding? If you need to fill in a model ID on airtable you can just put a generic number in for now.

@cryptnotiq sorry for the bad time estimate for completion, i was going through the code base. So the asset data is retrieved from two sources airtable and the blockchain based on the 'asset added' event. The data retrieved from the blockchain acts as the main source of truth if an asset is not added it won't show on the dashboard.

Which eth account was used to add the assets?

if you can't get it deployed live to test, then you will need to wait until the other task (deploy to IPFS) is completed so it can be tested there.
