About MyBit Go Blog #48

Closed mybit-bot closed 5 years ago

mybit-bot commented 5 years ago

We need a blog written which explains the value of MyBit Go and how it works.

Requirements:

  1. Must be easy to understand for people without a technical background
  2. limit the use of blockchain technology and vocabulary
  3. Include: How it works, Brief Guide with images from application, and the value it offers.

Key areas of Value:

  1. Allows anyone to invest without going through a broker, fund, or third-party. This increases profits bc users do not have to pay fees to third parties which often are 20% or greater.
  2. Opens up to anyone. No location restrictions or minimum capital requirements
  3. Receive revenue in real time instead of quarterly or annually. Right when an asset generates revenue such as a Bitcoin ATM charging a fee, profits are sent automatically to the owners via Ethereum smart contracts
  4. Long-term vision. With MyBit Go, when machines automate jobs, the people will have the ability to own them and profit from machine labour. Under the current model large funds and institutions will own the machines and income disparity will sky rocket.
  5. Acts like the bond market for crypto. When you want to reduce volatility you can invest in a revenue generating IoT asset with stable returns. DAI solved a major issue with converting to "cash" without leaving crypto. Now MyBit Go offers investors the possibility of generating returns while also limiting price volatility.

We do understand the value of every contributors time, which is why we strive to make the task descriptions as detailed as possible. Hi,

I am working on this :) What is the procedure to iterate with temporary documents?

Bests,

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

Hey @alejodosr You could share via a google drive doc with comments enabled so feedback can be made directly on that. Alternatively if you propose something better, we are happy to look into it. Still working out the kinks of the DDF process and open to community feedback and suggestions.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

Ok, I am about to share you a first version :)

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

@alejodosr great just tag me in a comment with the link when you do.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

Hey @cryptnotiq , here you have the first version. I am looking forward to reviewing your comments :)

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

hey @alejodosr could you share a link where comments are enabled so I can send you notes directly on the doc?

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

I did actually, let's try with this https://docs.google.com/document/d/17niya64cF6htkCxfw0PVZ_oxGYXUJiBMf2EfYgYRyrA/edit?usp=sharing

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

@alejodosr cool - comments made.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

Hey @cryptnotiq , comments implemented :)

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

great - I sent it over to our content manager for final review. Please allow around 48-72 hours for him to go through it. If you have not heard anything by then, please ping me here.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

hey @cryptnotiq I have successfully implemented all the nice comments of Rory and James. Waiting for the next move :)

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

@alejodosr made some final comments to incorporate but very good so far, it's almost done.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

@cryptnotiq comments implemented, you can already check them

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

hey @cryptnotiq any problem with the implementation? I am eager to keep on contributing but I'd like to fully complete this contribution first to have a global overview of the process :)

cryptnotiq commented 5 years ago

@alejodosr apologies for the delay. All looks good - please submit a pull request.

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

@cryptnotiq pull request submitted! (https://github.com/MyBitFoundation/MyBit.marketing/pull/53)

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

@cryptnotiq I am working on other contribution, but I'd like to firstly know, how much does it take (on average) for an already checked pull request to be merged?

csmartinsfct commented 5 years ago

@alejodosr merged the PR. Payment will follow soon.

As far as the time it takes, if it's already been approved then it should be pretty quick, few hours I suppose. The thing is we're still working out the kinks as far as keeping track of all the issues and their state, so a heads up like you just did not only is it fine, we appreciate it.

Danke! 💯

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

@csmartinsfct thank you! and keep up the good work!

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

@csmartinsfct BTW, I have not received the MYB tokens, when I am supposed to received them? Also, where can I see the transaction?

alejodosr commented 5 years ago

Solved

0xjjpa commented 5 years ago

This one was solved and paid manually, so the contract payment was sent back to my address. Thanks, everyone!
