I am thinking we need a button in the edit student section that floods info to Bloomy only for users enrolled in Floral courses. Thoughts?

Yes something like this, however does this also require the teacher to create a course outline named "Floral Design". Or how will the students be filtered? Since the teacher has control over the outline name, it could be any number of titles..

• ability for a teacher to issue Bloomy license
• set the start date and end date
• email address will be required because it will be Google SSO to Bloomy
• when clicking submit, the Bloomy licensing requirements should flood to the Bloomy API

From Teacher Edit Student Screen /Teachers/students/select-student-edit.asp?Status=1

• ability for the teacher enable Google and enable Bloomy. Note: Google enabled is required for Bloomy enabled
• Bloomy enable dropdown should only be displayed teachers who a licensed to use Bloomy
• when clicking submit, the Bloomy licensing requirements should flood to the Bloomy API
• Teachers should have a link to Bloomy Pro under their profile

From the Student Landing Page

• add a link to Bloomy which will Google SSO them in

Blake, Lindi is pushing us to finish sooner.

I thought of an idea that might simplify the specs. We takeaway the need for teachers to enable students access to Bloomy. Licensed teacher would be provided a link, which when clicked would automatically register a user with Bloomy. This would take away the need make changes to the Edit Student Screen.

The link could also be posted to Google Classroom.

The link requirements

• validate licensing on the mycaert side
• hit the Bloomy API to setup the Google ID, move to the next step if the ID is already active with Bloomy
• redirect the user to Bloomy

Hi - I have the API development working. I need to embed it into the website and bring through all of the variables. I'm hoping that will be complete in the next 2-3 days.

Hi - I have completed the initial part of this work. For teachers that have the floral design library, they will now have a link on their home screen for Bloomy Registration. Right now, that's pointed to the test Bloomy site, not production.

Once you click that, in the background, we're adding the teacher's email to the floral design license.

I then redirect you to the Bloomy website for login.

Can you please test all of this and let me know if you have any issues or items that are missing?

@Blake, if a customer doesn't purchase the floral design license, but wants the Bloomy. How can this work?

Also, instead of the wording "Bloomy Registration" can we insert the BloomyEdu logo. @calliemcclay can you provide the logo?

• Remove the working 'Bloomy Registration', changed to the new logo
• Opened a new window when clicked
• Changed the library from Floral Design to Bloomy Education Library

Student Landing Page

• add a link to Bloomy with below icon
• The link should only be visible and functional if the student's teacher is licensed for for the Bloomy Education Library
• The link should auto register the student via the Bloomy API, if they are not already registered in Bloomy
• For Google SSO to work, the student must have an email address registered in MyCaert. We probably need to have warning pop up to the student, they must contact their teach to add their google email address so they can SSO into Bloomy

Hi everyone - I have completed the student side integration with Bloomy. The Bloomy logo will show for students that have a teacher that has access to the Bloomy library. If the student does not have a Google email registered with their profile, they will get an alert message that asks them to reach out to their teacher to add their Gmail email address to their account.

Please test and let me know any issues or additions.
