This is can not be protected against from the dispenser side. It needs to be protected from the EntitySmallFireball form coming into a protected area. Afterwind is looking into this.

For the vannilla. Need protection for the EnderDragon and for the Whiter. (note: The explosions of the wither didn't explode anything, but when you push him to a block the block breaks)

it doesn't look like pressure plates are protected either.
