After researching and posting on the Ogre forums it looks like it might be ok. The key thing is when building Ogre from source to make sure that you also build the install project which creates the sdk folder. I had not seen those instructions anywhere. I already had Ogre built and was using it fine from library directories.
After reading the brief info here: [http://wiki.ogre3d.org/MyGUI+Compiling] I still can't get cmake to work even after trying to resolve the various configure errors that I get within cmake.
I have Ogre built from source and am trying to correctly provide the paths requested.
I also think that the help tips that appear when you hover over a cmake line could be more clearly stated so you know exactly what directory the script is looking for.
If I can help work this out just let me know what I need to help update the script.
