Currently, in Homework view, we detect events within the next week and use a human-readable description of the date instead of the raw date. (for example, saying something is due "next Thursday") However, this can be somewhat confusing. For example, if today is Thursday:
something due in 2 days is "Saturday"
something due in 5 days is "Tuesday" (which is on the next week!)
something due in 7 days is "next Thursday"
something due in 12 days is "next Tuesday"
At least for me, the fact that "next Thursday" and "next Tuesday" are actually on different weeks is confusing (especially because "next Tuesday" actually is later than "next Thursday") I'm not really sure what a smarter way of doing this would be, though....
