Let's start sketching out what the mining UI will look like and decide on the first GPU miners to support, one for AMD and one for NVIDIA

I really do not think that it is a good idea having mining tab in a wallet. I'm strongly against mining on the same machine where your wallet is. It is very unsecure and mining software can NOT be trusted. Noone except the author has the source.
If so there should be at least some serious warning tab or better approach it in a different way.

One solution to mining in wallet with open source code is to integrate with something like ccminer and sgminer, both of which are fully open source and in most forks, have no dev fee. Their equihash implementations are a little slower than bminer, claymore, etc., but I don't think by a huge amount. Of course, they can always be optimized as well.

Just a plug here, choose miners that expose an API. Yes, I always read my Github notifications 😁.

waves to all. Hope you have been well.
