Currently the ICOc script icoc stores various log information in the current working directory. This is especially problematic when the current user does not have write permissions for this directory (e.g. C:\windows\system32 in Windows).
Possible Solutions
Store the log information in the user’s Documents directory
Store the log information in the usual location for logs; We probably need a library (maybe platformdirs) to tell us where this location is according to the current user/OS
